We have carefully created resources and tool guides to help you get started on Amathuba, from sharing your files and content to setting up quizzesâ. â

For a short overview about Amathuba have a look at our 3-page Getting Started Quick Guide. This guide briefly introduces you to the course navigation bar ('navbar'), managing your course, sharing content on your class, communicating with your students, setting up course activities, grading and monitoring progress.
Our Getting Started Comprehensive Guide provides an easy introduction to logging in, navigating Amathuba and specifically focuses on the Content tool. The Content tool is an important tool for each course site as this is where your resources are shared.
There is also a self-paced Amathuba Staff Orientation course. If you have any issues accessing the course, please contact the CILT Helpdesk (cilt-helpdesk@uct.ac.za).
If you are moving from Vula to Amathuba, the Tool Comparison summary table and the Amathuba Tools Overview may be handy.
This guide is intended to help Tutors navigate Amathuba for courses they are tutoring on.
