Our ADP mission is to promote transformation of institutional culture by developing, implementing and disseminating educational strategies that foster equity of access and outcomes. The undergraduate curriculum has traditionally been the main target of ADP’s mission, but in recent years the mission has been extended to include strengthening undergraduate students’ chances of progressing to postgraduate studies and of being successful as postgraduate students. While ADP’s units have different structures and relationships with the faculties, their shared goals and objectives are:
- To deliver and promote effective and high quality teaching and learning that support equity of access and outcomes
- To work with other CHED departments towards providing the University with specialised educational contributions
- To be responsive to the academic needs of current and future students and to the requirements of the University and the national Higher Education landscape.
