Deidre Schippers

Deidre Schippers is the Programme Coordinator on the Global Citizenship Programme. She holds a Masters in Development Studies, BA (Honours) and a BA (Administration) from the University of the Western Cape.

Prior to joining the GCP, Deidre previously worked, as a part-time assistant lecturer and more recently as an academic and tutor coordinator. Deidre is passionate about education and the unique role the higher education sector has in enabling students to develop into holistic and productive members of society. She is focused on working towards enabling student success by contributing to creating learning environments that allow for personal expression and constructive learning.
