  • How and when did you get involved with the GC programme?

I participated in one of the ‘Learning to Listen’ workshops and was interested in the pedagogy of GC. I then co-hosted an interfaith workshop at UCT in collaboration with GC which subsequently led to me co-facilitating on the GC1 Global Debates, Local Voices course in 2017.

  • What influenced your decision to join the GC staff?

I am fascinated by the methodology of engagement that GC uses in teaching and learning spaces, and, coming from an education background (PGCE) I think that this space offered opportunity growth.

  • What do you find most exciting about being part of the GC team?

We get to test out different teaching and learning practices on unsuspecting participants. The GC team also comes from diverse disciplines, so it’s an interesting space where we share our different ‘knowledges’.

  • What is the one thing you think people should know about you?

I have a thing for languages and I’m on a mission to increase the number of languages I know. I am currently beginning my 5th language.
